Academic Year

Excluding Richfield Public School’s published breaks and religious holidays, Richfield Area Lutheran Youth holds a Youth Group program every Wednesday Night, running from 6 – 8 pm.

Youth Group starts with food and fun! Our typical menu consists of pizza and snacks.

After food and games, we do a personal check – in, usually using the rose (something that went well in the past week), thorn (something that didn’t go well in the past week), and bud (something you are looking forward to in the near future). All participants are invited, but never forced, to participate in check – ins, and there are always more adult leaders present than needed to allow an adult leader and youth to break away from the larger group and have a more supportive and private one – on – one conversation.

Youth Group wraps up with one of the RALY leaders/volunteers sharing a Bible verse/story and why it’s meaningful to them, the youth participants, and the wider modern community. After the reflection and conversation, we close in song and prayer.
